THE AWARD SELECTION PROCESS
Once submitted, applications will be forwarded to The M Award Executive Committee (the "Judges"), which may include but is not limited to, The M Foundation's Executive Director and participating elite athletes affiliated with The M Foundation. The weighting for the judging criteria will include: outstanding community service, demonstrated athletic leadership, and commitment to healthy athletic performance. Winners will be selected by a point-tally vote of the judges.
Once our athlete-judges select winners, the selection team will allow up to one week to validate the applicant information before notification. Winners are then notified and awards are distributed.
All Silver and Bronze Award recipients will be invited to submit a supplemental application for the Gold Award. The Gold Award supplemental application will be provided to the Silver and Bronze Award recipients who will be notified in June 2012.
